  1. Submission Deadline 12:00AM PDT December 4, 2020: Please complete the “sign up” form by this date.
  2. Advising December 16-18, 2020: Selected founders will meet with advisors via Zoom conference for their event briefing, elevator pitch, and 5 min presentation feedback.
  3. Pitches Due January 8, 2021: Participating founders will record and submit both of their 30 second and 5 minute video presentations.
  4. DMID 2021 January 19, 2021:  The video conference will be hosted on Zoom and consist of live and pre-recorded content. Networking opportunities will be available. Presenters are recommended to use Calendly to schedule follow-up meetings with investors.

Why do we hold this event?
Now more than ever, development and innovation in the digital manufacturing industry is a necessity. As companies recover from disrupted supply chains and reduced economic growth, they are seeking new solutions that will enable them to survive and thrive again. Enabling investment in these new technologies means that we can all have a chance to recover economically.

What is “Elevate”?
“Elevate” is Dyndrite’s umbrella initiative that focuses on growing and supporting the digital manufacturing and workforce development communities. Through our Elevate activities, including DMID and our Dyndrite Developer Conference, we hope to build a strong and vibrant development community in the digital manufacturing market.

Who attends DMID?
We welcome digital manufacturing founders, investors, press and industry experts to attend DMID.

Can I participate remotely?
Yes, this is an entirely virtual event. Anyone anywhere in the world is welcome to attend.

How much does it cost to register for DMID and how can I sign up?
Digital Manufacturing Investor Day is free for everyone! Simply click on the ‘sign up’ button on this page to participate.

Will there be a CEO Keynote?
Yes. Dyndrite’s CEO, Harshil Goel, will have a scheduled session at the beginning of the day. Learn more about Harshil at www.dyndrite.com.

Will there be a Q&A with presenting companies?
Yes, there will be a scheduled Q&A period after each presentation with the Investor Panel. Attendees are encouraged to engage in conversations and ask questions through the provided channels.

Are investors who participate in Digital Manufacturing Investment Day required to invest?
No. While we hope the investors will jump at opportunities presented during the event, there is no obligation to invest or meet with teams.

When can presentations be viewed online?
Qualified investors will have exclusive access to presentation videos during and after the event. Emerging companies that are selected to participate in the live event will present their 5 min presentation publicly, followed by a short Q&A.


For Companies:

Are founders who present at Digital Manufacturing Investment Day guaranteed investment?
No, there is no guarantee of further meetings or funding.

What kind of companies can apply?
Companies developing and enabling next-generation software and hardware tools for digital manufacturing are encouraged to apply. All applications will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status.

What stage companies are you accepting?
We encourage revenue-positive or product-ready companies that are seeking Series A level funding or higher to apply.

Who sees my application?
Your application will be reviewed by select Dyndrite team members and our partnered investor advisors.

Why are you asking for a video submission in the application?
As this is a virtual event, video submissions are the preferred medium for presentations and will help us assess your ability to communicate via video.

When is the application deadline?
Please submit your application by: December 4th, 2020

Confidentiality
We ask that companies do not disclose any information deemed confidential to Dyndrite, advisors, or the audience before or during the event. Interested parties may schedule direct meetings from the Calendly links on the investor landing page, or reach out to participating companies on alternate channels such as websites or LinkedIn.
