MEET OUR EXPERTS

Experience the Future of LPBF Manufacturing — Through those who know it best.

Meet the Dyndrite Experts is a monthly speaker series about how people are pushing additive manufacturing further with Dyndrite. Each session features someone who uses LPBF Pro day to day, or who has deep knowledge in their field that can be leveraged using Dyndrite. Join us to hear their stories and learn more on what you can achieve using LPBF Pro.

Our Next Speaker

Join us at our next expert speaker session on November 18th at 13:00 EST. Meet with Jigar Patel PhD. (University of Waterloo) and hear about his recent award work:

Geometry Aware Beam Path Optimization for LPBF using Vector-Level Strategies

‍
Alongside researchers Sagar Patel, Rene Lam, and Mihaela Vlasea, Jigar is investigating the effect of various scan strategies for hatch and border vectors to strategically reduce vaporization-induced keyhole porosity.

The broad objective is to identify scalable strategies that offer a balance between mechanical properties (e.g., fatigue life) and bulk density. By using Dyndrite's LPBF Pro, Waterloo were able to implement a wide range of strategies across two different machines (EOS and Renishaw), two different materials (AlSi10Mg and Ti64), and three different geometries (bulk cross-sections, gyroid, and diamond lattices).

Among other interesting findings and new questions, this work shows that component geometry inherently dictates which scan strategy might be optimal for it."

Hear the full talk and get the opportunity to ask questions after.

Who Should Attend

These talks are perfect for those wanting to improve their LPBF outcomes: better surface finish, reduced supports, high productivity and who want to be empowered with advanced capabilities to deploy modern AI coded workflow. They are ideal for:
‍

  • Researchers using Dyndrite to speed up materials and process development and crack hard and interesting M&P problems
  • End Users wanting to run automated production control at scale
  • ‍OEM partners whose machines integrate with Dyndrite for finer laser control
  • ‍Application engineers, showing how AI-assisted coding solves complex customer challenges in hours rather than weeks
